What is your anthology about?

'Otherworldly taste’ is a short collection of erotic sexpositive stories for adult readers. We strive to be a different type of erotic comic novel with fantasy and sci-fi beings. This will be a physical book that will be crowdfunded,

What's the theme?

The theme is Mystical beings, Monsters, aliens or anything otherworldly. We want erotic stories dedicated to anything mystical and monstrous! This can include beings from lore or your own type of monster or fantasy/sci-fi inspired characters.

Does there have to be sex in my comic?

No! This anthology strive to be erotic in many types of ways and the act of sex can also be different from person to person. Your comic need to be suggestive and erotic but does not necessarily need sex in it, play around with it in the story! We encourage all types of positive sexual and erotic interactions.

How will we work together?

The anthology will be about 10-13 comic creators with 10+ pages to work out an erotic story on. A discord channel will be created for those who participate, there we will share feedback and have meetings if needed. We will have an email chain where we also will communicate more officially.

What will I recive?

You will recive 10-20 physical books to sell at your own leisure.

How will this get funded?

The anthology wll be crowdfunded on indiegogo where we will try to reach the goal to cover the funds to print the book. I The book's overall sucess and funding depends on the crowdfunding campaign, therefore everyone participating will need to do their best to spread the word about the campaign. In the event of the project not being completely funded, each person will be expected to put in some amount of money to get the book printed. This sum will cover the printing costs. So, be prepeared to put in a sum to get physical books printed, if the crowdfunding does not reach it's ultimate goal. This price can vary depending on funding as indiegogo is a platform where even if we do not reach our ultimate goal, we can keep the funds we have recived through the crowdfunding and making the printing cost cheaper!

Then, when you sell the book at your own leisure at conventions, book fairs or online and you will earn the difference between the printing cost and the consumer price. Example: a book costs 50 Sek to print. The book is sold for 180 sek. This means you earn 130 Sek per book (excluding taxes). You might have to pay shipping to get the books to your location, but if the crowdfunding campaign is very successful, the shipping costs could also be covered. It all depends on how well the campaign goes.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

You must be at least 18 years old, as this book is for adults only.

A positive creator who are accepting of all kinds of bodies, genders and sexuality.
Only original characters and works are allowed. Characters from previous works are allowed, but the comic need to be a new original comic made for this anthology.
Human x Otherwordly beings are allowed!
Be ready to participate in crowdfunding perks as example: a illustration for posters or pins.
Recive and give feedback to the participants in a positive manner.
Be active and keep deadlines
No artist shall draw anyone under the age of 18 for this anthology.
No rape or over sexualized gore. Consent is key.
Have a basic knowledge of DPI and comic margins.
Required to post and be part of the spreading of the crowdfunding.
